The 24 Hour Residential Program is committed to ensuring that services are provided to the Individual that supports and empowers their independence along with the quality of life they have chosen. BSSA Residential services operate 365 days a year and up to 24 hours a day, depending on each Individuals contracted supports. The Residential Program provides overnight staff who may be fully awake during the night or who have a sleep shift position. Overnight staff are able to provide supports through the night to those Individuals who require it.
Each Individual chooses where to live and with whom they would like to live with. Often Individuals who require Residential supports will live together and share staffing. In these situations the Individuals jointly set up and maintain their home. Personal living areas and common areas are established and all Individuals are supported to make the home their home.
